Alex has a wide breadth of expertise in complex private client work. His core sectors are Agriculture and the Food industry. He also maintains an active interest in Trusts Law, Charity Law and International Succession.
His day to day work involves succession and capital tax planning for agricultural clients, owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals focusing in particular on the preparation of specialist wills for farmers and business owners.
During his time with Roythornes Alex has advised on tax planning with SIPPs, Ecclesiastical law, capital tax advice for mineral extraction projects, the formation of a registered charity, inheritance tax, SDLT and capital gains tax planning through wills, trusts and partnership rearrangements and much else besides.
Alex is has been published on Agricultural tax issue on FWi and is currently undertaking the Notarial Practice Course.
