Ben Hoare Bell LLP was established in 1978. Our 13-partner firm now employs approaching 100 staff across four offices in the North East.
The early and continuing aim of the firm is to provide high-quality advice and representation to individuals, including under the legal aid system in a clear open and honest manner.
When you seek advice from us as part of our service and without charge to you, we will explain the potential costs involved and the options available to you. We promise no hidden fees and no nasty surprises at a later point. We will explain all your funding options including Legal Aid, Fixed Fee, and No Win No Fee. We will help you to determine the best course of action, including whether or not it is likely to be worthwhile proceeding.
We have a 24-hour emergency telephone line and police station representation. When necessary we offer hospital and home visits. We are committed to plain English, to keeping you fully informed about the progress of your case and to giving clear information at all stages about legal costs.
We are proud to have been awarded both LEXCEL and Investor in People Accreditations and we were one of the first firms in the North East to be awarded the Legal Services Commission franchise for quality services in all our principal areas of practice. A large proportion of our staff are accredited as members of specialist panels in their fields of work and our emphasis on continuing education helps to ensure that we are able to bring up-to-date knowledge to all the areas in which we practice.
