Personal Profile
Elisabeth is a partner in the Taylor Wessing Finance group. She has over 20 years experience of lending and financing transactions, advising banks, sponsors, corporates and export credit agencies in project financings and trade finance and cash transactions.
Elisabeth's telecom and related experience includes:
advising the Rwanda and Mauritius subsidiaries of Millicom International Cellular in the multi-tranche financing of a telecom network in Rwanda supported by KfW, Standard Bank, OFIC, EDC, DnB and others; and
advising MIC Tanzania in relation to a three loan structure (including tower sales) for the financing of its telecom network in Tanzania secured by local security and a parent guarantee.
Elisabeth's Energy and Infrastructure related experience and other experience includes:
advising SG in relation to the secured financing of the second phase of the Janub power station in Azerbaijan; and
advising Thomas Enterprises on the purchase and financing of Willis Group Headquarters in London with a view to developing the property as a hotel.
Elisabeth's Trade finance, receivables finance and related experience includes:
advising Lloyds TSB Bank plc in relation to an inventory financing for Glencore; and
advising Deutsche Bank in relation to a VAT receivables financing facility for Jaguar.
Elisabeth obtained a doctorate in law from Vienna University. She spent four years working in Hong Kong and qualified as a Hong Kong lawyer. She is bilingual in English and German.
