Emma Danks is a partner in the corporate group specialising in private equity.
Emma trained with Clifford Chance and spent nine years in their private equity practice before joining Taylor Wessing in 2010. She has advised many of the leading European and international private equity houses and their investee companies on a wide range of leveraged buy-outs and related transactions.
Emma is co-author of the PLC Cross Border Private Equity Handbook 2010 and contributor to ""Private Equity Exits – A Practical Analysis"" published in October 2011, and is a regular commentator in the private equity press on the current market. In 2013, Emma joined the private equity industry's ""Unquote"" judging panel for the British Private Equity Awards.
Recognised in Chambers and Partners, Emma is recommended for being a ""highly bright, personable, commercial and effective lawyer"". Emma is also recommended in Legal 500 for being ""very sharp and commercial"".
Emma is a graduate of Newnham College, Cambridge.
