Giles Betts joined Buckles in 2010 as Head of Employment. He trained and qualified as a solicitor from 1997 to 2007 at Mills & Reeve. As Head of Employment, Giles advises companies and partnerships, public organisations and leading supervisors on their employment rights and how to comply with the law when arranging redundancies, business re-organisations and terminating employees from their contract of employment.
Giles has extensive experience in represent clients in the Employment Tribunal over legal issues including but not limited to, unfair dismissal, constructive and wrongful dismissal, sex and race discrimination, unlawful deductions from wages and breach of contract claims.
Furthermore, Giles drafts contracts of employment, director’s service agreements on behalf of clients, including company procedure rules.
