Personal Profile
Joanne is a partner in the construction and engineering group at Taylor Wessing. Joanne's practice covers renewables, real estate development, sports stadia, nuclear and rail infrastructure. Her role on a project will involve advising clients on procurement models and setting up those models to maximise efficiencies on the project. Her experience covers all the major standard form contracts including IChemE, NEC3, FIDIC, JCT, MF/1 and ICE.
In addition to procurement strategy advice, Joanne also advises on dispute avoidance and disputes both in the UK and internationally.
Joanne is qualified in both English and Scots law and she has an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from King's College. She is named as a leading expert in construction in the Legal Directory of Experts.
She is a regular contributor to the trade journals: Building, Construction News and Construction Manager. She also speaks at industry events and client seminars. She is a member of the Society of Construction Law and the Adjudication Society.
