Personal Profile
Julia Gooch is a Legal Executive and Accredited Police Station Representative and specialises in criminal defence work. She has been with the firm for over fifteen years and prior to that worked for solicitors’ firms in St. Neots and Cambridge; giving her over twenty years experience.
As an Accredited Police Station Representative, this means that she is authorised to attend at Police Stations anywhere in the country to advise and assist individuals arrested for offences or those who have been asked to attend at Police Stations voluntarily for an interview.
In addition, Julia is involved in the preparation of cases in the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court. Julia has been involved in a variety of cases from minor road traffic offences through to rapes and murders. Through the detective work that she carries out, this has sometimes resulted in cases being dropped and ensures that all possible avenues of defence are explored.
Julia works closely with the Principal, Michael Whatley, heading up the criminal department assisted by Tish Whatley.
