Kirstie McGuigan is a partner in the Private Client department having joined the firm in 2007. Kirstie advises on a range of private client issues and in particular specialises in the resolution of disputes relating to the formation or administration of trusts and estates both in a UK and international context, together with non contentious matters such as trust creation and administration, including tax implications, the creation of charities, the drafting and preparing of wills, the administration of estates and related personal tax and succession planning.
Kirstie was ranked in the 2011/12 "Top 35 under 35" survey produced by Private Client Practitioner. She is a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has spoken at a number of STEP conferences.
Kirstie is also an active member of the Taylor Wessing’s Charities Committee and is involved with both the firm’s graduate recruitment programme and training and mentoring programmes for junior lawyers at Taylor Wessing. Educated at the University of Liverpool (LLB Hons) and at The College of Law, Chester (LPC), Kirstie qualified in 2004.
