Leanne is an Associate in our Human Resources Practice Group. She advises on a whole range of employment law matters but specialises in discrimination and diversity issues and contentious matters. She conducts her own advocacy.
Leanne advises both private and public sector employees but spends the majority of her time working with higher education institutions including a number of chartered universities.
Her recent experience includes: advising regarding difficult disciplinary and grievance issues, a number of complex Tribunal cases involving existing employees and claims of whistleblowing and discrimination, restructure and redundancy advice, acting as advocate during internal hearings for a university client and public sector equality duties.
Leanne regularly writes and delivers both internal and external training. She has delivered training with the Employers' Forum on Disability and is a regular speaker at our twice yearly Current Developments course. Leanne is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and Chair of Governors at her local primary school.
Leanne has recently been described in client feedback as "responsive and pragmatic".
