Mark Buzzoni is the Head of the Private Capital group at Taylor Wessing. This is a newly-formed group comprising both Private Client and Corporate lawyers with a view to integrating more closely the services these areas provide to our high net worth client base.
Mark specialises in trust and tax planning advice and has wide-ranging experience of advising an international client base. He advises on the protection and preservation of capital, including tax issues, and acts for individuals and their families as well as professional trustees, client families who have complex multi-jurisdictional assets and family members across a number of countries. As well as acting for individuals, Mark also acts for professional trustees in Bermuda, Liechtenstein, Jersey and Guernsey.
Mark is listed as a top 10 trust and personal tax solicitor in both the Legal 500 and Chambers directories. The latter states that he ""gives 'highly creative' advice and his 'detailed technical advice and gravitas' ensure that this 'gifted communicator' is rated amongst the best in the market place.""
Mark has been included in the ""50 Most Influential"" list 2012, published by leading private wealth publication Private Client Practitioner, and in 2011 he was ranked among the ""Top 20 Men in Private Wealth Management"" compiled by Citywealth. Mark has also been included as one of the Top 50 Wealth Practitioners in the 2010 Spear’s Legal Index.
Mark studied law at Bristol University graduating in 1977 and qualified as a solicitor in 1980. He further qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 1986.
