Personal Profile
Michael is an associate in the intellectual property team and provides advice on contentious and non-contentious patent issues.
Michael has advised a wide range of clients from multinational companies to SMEs on patent matters across a variety of technologies including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, agrochemicals, telecommunications and electrical engineering. He has experience of advising clients in relation to multinational litigation across Europe, and in European Patent Office proceedings.
Michael has a particular interest in the relationship between intellectual property rights and competition law.
Michael has a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Sheffield and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Oxford. Michael is an advisor at Taylor Wessing’s Pro Bono Clinic.
