Nikol is a partner in the Corporate Tax team who joined the firm in 2006 and advises UK and international clients on a wide range of corporate tax issues. Nikol is a Chartered Tax Adviser and spent a number of years employed both as a Senior Tax Manager by PwC in their Mergers & Acquisitions tax department and as a senior associate in the tax department of Herbert Smith. She has also previously worked for Arthur Andersen in Australia.
Nikol is a qualified solicitor in Victoria, Australia, having completed Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees at the University of Melbourne. She has also completed a Masters in Taxation.
Her particular areas of expertise include advising on:
tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions advising both corporations and private equity funds;
reorganisation and restructuring of corporate groups including multinationals;
refinancings and structured finance transactions;
inbound and international tax planning.
Nikol is ranked in Chambers 2014, 2013 and is recommended by Legal 500 2013.
