Rob qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and has many years experience in advising on commercial and residential property transactions both freehold and leasehold.
Rob is an experienced residential conveyancer acting for private individuals, developers, landlords and lenders in relation to property acquisitions and disposals, plot sales, repossessions, auction properties, portfolios, lease extensions, transfers of equity and shared ownership.
In addition to his work in the area of residential property Rob advises on a variety of commercial property transactions including purchases, disposals, the grant of new leases, assignment of existing leases, licenses and the acquisition and disposal of land for development. His experience extends to advising in transactions involving both greenfield and brownfield sites, factories, offices, shops, restaurants and mixed use developments.
Rob has particular experience in advising Registered Providers (and their funders) and Local Authorities in relation to land and property for the provision of social housing. This experience includes site acquisitions and disposals ,negotiating development agreements, section 106 agreements and nomination agreements and stock transfers.
Rob approaches his workload in a detailed yet practical manner in order to achieve his client’s desired objectives.
