Robert has particular experience of large commercial projects and outsourcing contracts, most notably in the healthcare sector. He works with clients in both the public and private sectors to structure, draft and negotiate contracts for the delivery of clinical and related services and in establishing joint ventures and alliances between providers and purchasers.
His understanding of the NHS environment helps clients to deliver commercial solutions and to achieve the desired transformational change. He is experienced in advising on collaborative arrangements for health and social care commissioners (clinical commissioning groups and local authorities) and in developing innovative delivery models for healthcare providers. He assists clients in understanding any associated governance and regulatory issues.
Robert helps clients to run procurements for various services and/or to bid successfully for various tenders, building on his extensive experience in private practice and in industry as an in-house lawyer.
