Robert is a highly respected competition law specialist who advises companies on the application of EU and UK competition law. He has extensive experience of M&A work and has submitted numerous successful merger notifications to many competition authorities including a recent notification to the European Commission which involved turnover in excess of €19 billion. He advises on a diverse range of sectors including technology, life sciences, consumer goods, media and entertainment, chemicals, sports, construction, healthcare, transport and luxury brands.
Robert also has formidable contentious experience and has successfully defended companies during numerous investigations and "dawn raids" run by the OFT or the European Commission (this includes recently introduced digital forensic investigations using Nuix data tools).
