Rowena is a Consultant with McMillan Williams. She has worked at the firm for three separate periods of time from 1985 onwards. Apparently she just cannot keep away.
Her current role is as the firm’s Residential Conveyancing Auditor, encompassing:
reviewing residential conveyancing files and working alongside the firm’s Residential Conveyancers with regard to any matters arising from the audits
providing a valuable resource of expertise and experience going back over 30 years to advise on and improve the firm’s residential conveyancing practises
providing advice and assistance to the firm’s Conveyancing Supervisor and Head of Department with regard to enquires on historical files
providing advice and assistance to the firm’s Professional Manager in respect of client care and complaints issues relating to residential conveyancing
providing advice on Private Client aspects of residential conveyancing
Rowena is a well regarded Solicitor who is known for being able to spot even the oddest points. She is very highly respected in the firm.
Rowena qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 and first joined McMillan Williams in 1985 because it offered the career specialisations she wanted to pursue. She has experienced fee earning, managerial and training roles in several legal firms of differing sizes (including a national firm) and, having returned to McMillan Williams for the third time in 2008, enjoys the variety and challenges of her current role.
Outside work, Rowena follows football and is a member of the Campaign for Real Ale.
