Sarah is a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Disputes and Investigations Group. She specialises in financial services related disputes acting for banks and other financial institutions.
Sarah acts in relation to finance related disputes including breach of mandate claims, debt recovery claims and claims brought under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. She has a wide range of experience in enforcing personal guarantees, both secured and unsecured, on behalf of retail banks. She has also undertaken a secondment at a retail bank dealing with a range of disputes, including claims brought against the bank.
Sarah has also represented banks and building societies in professional negligence claims against valuers and solicitors, in both a residential and commercial context. She also has experience of asset finance litigation in particular equipment leasing and vehicle hire purchase.
Sarah regularly provides training for a number of lenders on the litigation process, issues affecting the industry and best practice.
