Shane also heads the Financial Disputes group of Taylor Wessing and specialises in dispute resolution and investigations in the banking and finance sector. He has wide-ranging experience in acting for financial institutions and companies in complex litigation and regulatory disputes.
He regularly acts in arbitrations before the major arbitral bodies involving disputes in the finance, energy, technology and telecommunications sectors, and has wide-ranging experience of interim applications before the Courts in support of arbitration
Shane also advises clients in relation to all aspects of regulatory and disciplinary investigations/proceedings and government inquiries. Chambers 2012 describes him as someone who is ""organised, cost-efficient and gets results"".
He is recognised in the area of banking litigation, commercial litigation and contentious regulatory and civil fraud by Chambers, Legal 500 and Legal Experts. Chambers 2013 (litigation) observe that he is a “great litigator with amazing commercial acumen and a superb way of delivering advice”. Shane has extensive experience acting in contentious matters for clients in the (re)insurance and technology sectors.
He has a Masters of Law in Banking and Finance from the University of London (King’s College).
