Siân Betts is a senior associate in our Company Commercial Practice Group. She specialises in commercial contracts, including PPP and PFI projects, for public and private sector clients.
Siân's experience includes advising the governments of two British overseas territories on major infrastructure projects. Siân's involvement in these projects included drafting contractual documentation and contract negotiations with the contractors. Siân has also recently worked with various local authorities and police authorities in the UK on PFI projects.
Siân completed a part-time secondment to a private sector client in 2007. During her time on secondment Siân assisted with the finalisation of documentation on a number of projects as well as assisting with general commercial matters.
Siân's recent experience includes advising private sector clients in the renewable energy sector. Siân has recently advised clients on fuel supply agreements, heat supply agreements, standard electricity supply contracts and connection agreements.
Siân has also been involved in the negotiation of contracts regarding the installation of PV panels on social housing.
