Sophie is a senior associate in the Disputes and Investigations group specialising in professional negligence and large contractual disputes.
She has significant experience in defending claims against large accountancy firms. Her recent cases include City Index v Charter Plc & Others and Dennard v PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Sophie has worked on a number of disciplinary investigations involving accountants conducted under the Accountants' Joint Disciplinary (JDS) Scheme and the Accountancy and Actuarial Discipline (AADB) Scheme. She has spent two years working in house at Big Four accountancy firms, advising on risk management and legal issues.
Sophie has also acted in financial services disputes, shareholder disputes and international arbitrations.
