Personal Profile
Steve joined the firm in 1996 to start the civil litigation department. Steve has turned his hand to a wide variety of cases, including matrimonial and personal injury before deciding to leave these areas and concentrate on commercial disputes and employment advice.
Cases of particular interest include arbitrating a dispute with an Indian joint venture company and a number of trust cases involving offshore companies. Steve has particular experience in the application of the TUPE regulations upon the transfer of services to new contractors. Lighter cases include taking injunction proceedings to recover a family pet.
Steve has considerable experience of alternative dispute resolution and has conducted a number of formal and informal mediations.
Outside of work Steve enjoys squash, golf and motor racing.
