Tom is a senior associate in the Private Client team. He specialises in trust and tax planning advice, primarily for clients whose affairs have an international dimension.
Tom's practice covers the full range of trust and estate matters and includes both advisory matters (for both new and existing structures) and implementation (implementing planning proposals, establishment of trusts and other asset holding structures). Tom acts for individuals and their families (whether in their personal capacity or as trustees), as well as professional trustees.
Tom also advises on charity law matters. He advises on both the establishment and ongoing legal requirements of charities (including governance, tax and trading) and has extensive experience of dealing with the Charity Commission.
