W H Matthews & Co was founded in 1881 by William Matthews and in 2008, boasts 4 offices located in the City of London, Sutton, Kingston upon Thames and Staines. The firm currently comprises of 25 full-time legal professionals with 40 supporting staff.
Each office provides comprehensive legal advice and assistance relating to all types of residential and commercial property conveyancing, civil and criminal litigation and matrimonial matters. Each of our offices can draw upon the firm-wide pool of expertise, talent and individual specialisation available.
The firm, under the guidance of senior partner Charles Howard, whilst continuing traditional business techniques has followed a forward thinking expansion programme incorporating well established solicitors practices within the locality of each office, which in recent years has included Freeboroughs, Owens, Versluys, Lowry Pearsey and most recently A D Perriman & Co.
