Yamin is Head of the China Group in the UK. She specialises in Chinese-related inward investment work and has, for the past 16 years, been advising Chinese corporations in establishing themselves and operating in the UK.
Yamin has been seconded to Bank of China International (UK) Ltd. as their in-house counsel and has advised Chinese clients in relation to banking, corporate, finance, employment, immigration, intellectual property, real estate and dispute resolution. She has acted for many Chinese national import and export corporations, state-owned commercial banks, provincial government offices and corporations and private individuals. She has been invited on numerous occasions by UKTI, RDAs, and the commercial section of the Chinese Embassy in the UK to give presentations on legal issues concerning inward investment at seminars organised by UKTI in Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai Xiamen and Shenzhen.
